Even after achieving the highest honor Phi Kappa Tau's Executive Offices can bestow upon a chapter, the brothers of Phi Kappa Tau still know there will always be room for improvement.

In the summer of 2007, the brothers of the Alpha Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Tau were awarded the Roland Maxwell Trophy for being the Most Outstanding Chapter in terms of brotherhood, learning, ethical leadership, and extraordinary character. The award solidified the fact that the chapter was not only excelling on the national screen, but constantly improving on its own campus.

Inside the Case Western Reserve community, the Alpha Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Tau was awarded the 2004 Pytte Cup, the honor bestowed upon the best fraternity on campus. From a pack of 16 fraternities, Phi Kappa Tau distinguished itself as an organization that is dedicated to strengthening their own brotherhood and the campus around them.

Among awards honored by Phi Taus from around the country, the Alpha Delta chapter won the community service award. The award was granted based on many achievements in the Cleveland community, as well as throughout the country. On campus, the annual “Phi K” five kilometer race and Casino Night events help to raise money for the Hole in the Wall Camps, an organization that supports numerous summer camps for chronically and terminally ill children. Alpha Delta brothers have also volunteered in community centers such as the Cleveland Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, and Habitat for Humanity. The spirit of service has driven the brothers of Phi Tau to volunteer at Hole in the Wall Camps such as Boggy Creek in Florida, and even perform volunteer work overseas in developing nations.  The brothers have been awarded a special MVP status by JDRF for constant support in their walk and annual Dream Gala.

These achievements have all come within eleven years of re-establishment upon Case Western Reserve’s campus. Given the growth of the chapter in only such a short time, brothers of the Alpha Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Tau fully understand how important it is to appreciate success, but always to realize there is room for growth.
