Paul Newman Memorial Phi K -- 5K Run for the Kids!

RUN, WALK, CRAWL FOR THE KIDS
9 YEARS AND COUNTING

Get Ready and Get Pumped!!!  Phi-K is back and bigger than ever!

Lace up your shoes and help the kids! Every fall, the Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity puts on a 5K (3.1 miles) road race for students, faculty, community members, and whoever else is up for a jog.

Proceeds from this race go to the Hole in the Wall Camps. The camps were started by Phi Kappa Tau alumnus Paul Newman to provide help for children with chronic illnesses. They are given the opportunity to enjoy a normal summer camp experience at no charge. Every year, thousands of ill children attend these camps and can be just like any other kid for a week. With your help, more chronically ill children from across the country will be able to have the time of their life at one of the Hole in the Wall Camps! For more information, please visit www.holeinthewallcamps.org.

In 2008, approximately 100 people registered and we raised just under $1,500!  Thanks to everyone who participated or donated, and to our gracious sponsors.  Let's make this year's race bigger and better than ever!
