Phi Kappa Tau Brothers Dominate Trivia Competition

Ok, not really...

In a strange turn of events, the brothers of Phi Kappa Tau actually found themselves in a decent position heading into the final "you can wager up to how many points you have" questions at the bi-annual Greek Life Trivia Competition to benefit the Cleveland Food Bank for Thanksgiving. This took place on Tuesday, November 15th, at the Spot.

Foolishly, on that fateful final question, the team decided to bet all of its points based on the category being, "Movies". Movie extraordinaire Justin Hemenway was unable to come up to the answer to the winner of Best Picture at the 2001 Academy Awards. (The answer was "American Beauty.")

The remaining three members of the team, Neil Williamson, Mike Rienzo, and Shardule Shah did not serve themselves in their usual strengths such as computing, the NFL, history, the Simpsons, etc. Bascially, a bunch of random questions were asked and the brothers were always deciding between the right answer and the wrong answer. Strangely enough, at most times, the wrong answer was chosen. (We swear, the Simpsons have a matching BLUE countertop and refrigerator, not green!!!)

Justin was quite disappointed with the lack of hot wings served at the competition, clearly having an effect on his performance. Neil was quite angry with the content of the questions. Mike was busy heckling Justin while Shardule was wondering how more salsa got onto his shirt than in his mouth. All in all, while the four of them had fun, to end up with zero points is simply a travesty. All of them will be replaced by androids at the next competition.
