Manoj Nair Wins Homecoming King!

Spurred by assistance from brothers and almost all of the Indian subcontinent (1+ billion people), Manoj Nair was crowned Homecoming King 2006. The campaign was kept light-hearted and all had fun in helping to PR for Manoj through chalkings and flyers. Phi Tau's last homecoming king was during the 2002-2003 school year when Mike Boyer was king. Manoj attributed his victory to his abilities to garner both male (read: action figure collection) votes and female (read: 'hug more!' slogan) votes. Promptly after winning king, Manoj was overwhelmed by two large flower bouquets and his victory crown took a tumble down into the bleachers of the football stadium. There was no need to panic as the crown was rescued. Manoj will be making his debut as homecoming king tonight at the Homecoming Dance.

Congratulations Manoj!
