Phi Tau Recognized for On Campus Excellence

Wednesday April 25th was Case's annual Greek Awards ceremony. A time when fraternity and sorority chapters on campus are recognized for their dedication to their own creed, the Case Greek life Creed, and supporting endeavors that make Greek Life as prominent as it is.

In addition to having several Brothers individually recognized for their participation in Order of Omega, Gamma Sigma Alpha, and as Recruitment Ambassadors, the Chapter itself was recognized for its outstanding performance in several fields. The Brothers took home the sportsmanship award in recognition of the Chapter's conduct on and off the field during IM games. Phi Tau also placed second in the overall race for the All Sports Cup.

Though the Chapter did not bring home the actual Pytte Cup, it did win recognition for outstanding performance in the Pytte Cup fields of Scholarship and Service/Philanthropy, two fields in which it had the highest score of any fraternity. The Chapter was also recognized for its university standards score. For it's completion of 120% of its goals to date in the 365 days of service challenge, Phi Tau was also recognized.

Standing out from other chapters on campus, Phi Tau took home the Creed and Values Award. An distinction given to a chapter on campus that Greek Life recognizes as living out its creed in everything it does. This award serves as yet another testament to way the men of this chapter carry themselves and the respect in which they're held by members of Case's Greek Life community.

It was truly a rewarding night for the Chapter, and one that the Chapter will keep in mind as we gear up for another successful year.
