Phi Kappa Tau Alpha Delta Announced as Best National Chapter

The brothers of the Alpha Delta Chapter of Phi Kappa Tau were awarded the Maxwell Trophy this past Saturday at the national Phi Kappa Tau convention for being the best chapter in the nation. The brothers received this award after being announced to be a finalist from four other chapters. Brian Browne, Ethan Engle, and Matthew Aehle delivered an award winning presentation to earn the brothers the Maxwell Trophy. In addition to winning the Maxwell Trophy the brothers for a second year in a row won the Moosnick Trophy for having the highest cumulative GPA of all the chapters nationally.

The Maxwell Trophy is awarded to the best Phi Kappa Tau chapter nationally and is awarded based on several categories including: Academics, Philanthropy, Community Service, Recruitment, and several others. The brothers excelled in all the categories to be announced a finalist of four chapters. This past weekend a presentation was given by three brothers that differentiated the Alpha Delta chapter from the other three in order to win the Maxwell Trophy.

The Maxwell is a great achievement.  I remember, back in the day, the way we strove to win that award.

We never implemented my idea of achieveing victory through sabotage (frequent road trips to visit and distract competitive chapters - particularly Cornell) .
